Processing times

Orders are prepared for dispatch within 1–2 business days, Monday through Friday. During busy periods — or if something needs clarifying, such as a payment that hasn't cleared or an address that looks incomplete — this can extend to 4 business days. Where that happens we'll email you before the order ships rather than leaving you guessing.

Daily cutoff

Anything ordered after 5:00 PM Eastern Time enters the queue on the following business day, which can add a day to the estimates below.

How long delivery takes

Preparing your order: 1–2 business days
In transit (US): 3–9 business days
In transit (international): 3–9 business days
Total, US: 4–11 business days
Total, international: 4–11 business days

These are estimates rather than guarantees. Weather, seasonal volume and carrier backlogs all move the dates around. If a delay is significant, we'll tell you about it.

What shipping costs

Both domestically and internationally:

Orders up to $55.00 — $4.99
Orders from $55.01 to $149.99 — $6.99
Orders of $150.00 or more — free

Who carries your order

We ship through established national postal services — USPS, Canada Post, Royal Mail and Australia Post among them — so that tracking is available and delivery stays predictable.

Customs, duties and taxes on international orders

Any duties, import taxes or handling fees applied by the destination country are the customer's responsibility. Customs clearance is controlled entirely by the authorities in your country, and Alto Verno cannot influence or be held responsible for how long it takes.

Cancelling an order

Get in touch as soon as possible and we'll do what we can. Once an order has reached our fulfilment centre we may not be able to stop it, and once it has shipped it falls under the return policy below instead.
